The Earl of Southesk gets married

  The Earl of Southesk married Camile Ascoli today, September 5,  according to an announcement in the French newspaper, le Figaro.  Unfortunately, the full announcement is behind the paper's paywall.  Lord Southesk, 31, is the heir to the Duke of Fife.   He is a descendant of Queen Victoria and William IV, the latter through an illegitimate line. The announcement does not state where the wedding took place.  If they were married in France, the couple will also have had a civil ceremony as religious weddings are not legal ceremonies. It is understood that the bride may have worn the Fife Fringe Tiara, which is on loan to Kensington Palace. The tiara is on display at Kensington Palace, but it has temporarily been removed from the display.
