The Earl of Southesk gets married

The Earl of Southesk married Camile Ascoli today, September 5)  according to an announcement in the French newspaper, le Figaro.  Unfortunately, the full announcement is behind the paper's paywall.  Lord Southesk, 31, is the heir to the Duke of Fife.   He is a descendant of Queen Victoria and William IV, the latter through an illegitimate line. (so if anyone has access to Le Figaro, I would love a copy of the complete announcement.)   I understand that the announcement does not state where the wedding took place.  If they were married in France, the couple will also have had a civil ceremony as religious weddings are not legal ceremonies. It is understood that the bride may have worn the Fife Tiara, which the Duke of Fife gave to the nation in lieu of massive taxes due to the death of the present Duke's father who died in 2015.  The tiara is on display at Kensington Palace, but it has temporarily been removed from the display. Lord Southesk is the eldest of three sons of the Duke of Fife and his wife, the former Caroline Bunting. https://royalmusingsblogspotcom.blogspot.com/2019/11/earl-of-southesk-engaged-to-marry.html Queen Victoria -- Edward VII -- Louise -- Maud -- James, 3rd Duke of Fife -- David -- Charles William IV -- Elizabeth Fitzclarence (married to the Earl of Erroll)  -- Lady Agnes Hay (married to Earl of Fife)  -- Alexander Duff, 1st Duke of Fife -- Maud (married to Earl of Southesk) -- James, 3rd Duke of Fife -- Charles, Earl of Southesk. James succeeded his maternal aunt, HRH Princess Arthur of Connaught, 2nd duchess of Fife in 1956, as her only son, Alistair, 2nd Duke of Connaught, died unmarried in 1943, a year after the death of his grandfather, HRH Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught.
