In an astoundingly beautiful ambience on the ancestral seat of the Prussian Royal family, the Royal Christmas Market on the Hohenzollern Castle is very rightly regarded as being one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany.
A broad spectrum of exhibitors as well as a stylish supporting program invite to a festive delight, to experience, discover and shop.
Because of the Christmas Market taking place in some interior rooms, there are no guided tours possible on the market days. But the treasure room, the two churches and the cellar are open.

Entrance fees Children and pupils up to 16 years are free. Adults: 10,00 Euro Reduced price: 8,00 Euro Tickets are available at the parking lot shop and at the entrance office box (online tickets are not available). The entrance prices include fees for parking and shuttle bus. Season ticket is valid.
Parking lots: The several parking lots are connected with the Hohenzollern Castle via shuttle bus service. A detailed plan of the different parking facilities you find here. Shuttle Bus The big shuttle busses are on duty between (72379) Hechingen train station an parking lot Hohenzollern Castle with stops at Weiherstadion (Badstraße) - Hechingen Obertorplatz* and Domäne Areal - an the same way back - at following times: Friday: 13:00 - 18:00 hrs approx. every 20-30 minutes.
Last return from parking lot Hohenzollern Castle to Hechingen train station: 21:00 hrs. Saturday: 10:00 -18:00 hrs approx. every 20-30 minutes. Last return from parking lot Hohenzollern Castle to Hechingen train station: 21:00 hrs. Sunday: 10:00 - 17:20 hrs approx. every 20-30 minutes.
Last return from parking lot Hohenzollern Castle to Hechingen train station: 20:00 hrs. Between castle parking lot and castle entrance gate the little shuttle busses are on duty every 10 minutes at following times: Friday: 13:30 - 21:00 hrs Saturday: 10:30 - 21:00 hrs Sunday: 10:30 - 20:00 hrs
Only a few metres from Obertroplatz there is the parking deck Neustraße Hechingen centre, which can be used for free on Christmas Market-Saturday/-Sunday Source: Burg Hohenzollern
